The course focuses on contextual problem-solving and handling more complex injury management in the workplace.

This course also equips learners with foundational knowledge to safely manage emergency scenes, perform CPR, operate an AED, and treat injuries like bleeding and burns.

This skills programme blends theoretical learning with hands-on practical drills to prepare you for real-life workplace incidents.

• Emergency Scene Management: Principles of first aid and basic anatomy.
• Basic Life Support: Adult, child, and infant CPR, and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) usage.
• Trauma Management: Treating wounds, bleeding, burns, shock, and choking.
• Medical Emergencies: Addressing unconsciousness, fainting, epilepsy, and head or spinal injuries.
• Post-Incident: Patient handover procedures and safe incident clean-up.

Apart from the basics of first aid, this course also includes:

• Advanced Resuscitation: Performing CPR and AED use on adults, children, and infants.
• Trauma Management: Assessing and managing wounds, bleeding, and severe burns.
• Clinical Procedures: Infection control, post-incident clean-up procedures, and thorough record-keeping.
